Samsung One UI 7 AI Audio Eraser Silences Annoying Noise in Your Videos

Samsung One UI 7 Audio Eraser

Samsung is set to introduce an AI Audio Eraser in the One UI 7 update. The first Beta is out but lacks this innovation marvel in the software. Samsung may bring it to Galaxy users with the next Beta update.

Insider IceUniverse leaked the Samsung AI Audio Eraser feature of One UI 7. He pointed out that it is unavailable in the latest public Beta version that has been distributed among consumers.

As the name suggests, Audio Eraser will leverage AI and deep learning to fix videos. It will help you to remove background noise and unwanted sounds from your video so you can make it a masterpiece.

Well, Samsung isn’t the first firm to bring such a useful feature for creators. Google, with its Pixel 8 series, first introduced the AI-powered Audio Magic Eraser in late 2023, which got more powerful with the Pixel 9 this year.

Google AI’s Audio Magic Eraser uses advanced machine learning models. It helps Pixel users to identify sounds like:

  • People talking in the background
  • Music
  • Wind

The feature also sorts them into distinct layers that you can control. Now, you can reduce distracting noises so your video sounds the way you want – all in just a few taps.

Samsung’s version of the AI Audio Eraser would function similarly. As it’s late, the company may bring some rich UI tweaks to make it look appealing and accessible to a vast range of devices.

One UI 7 – A look at the release:

One UI 7 Beta Program started for the Galaxy S24 series in early December. We assume the Beta activity to run around two months, with four to five major Beta releases likely.

Samsung will launch the final version of One UI 7 at the Galaxy Unpacked next year. The new S25 series flagships will debut this brand new iteration of One UI, most likely in late January next year.
