Samsung has updated its Health app with One UI 7, introducing new features to improve sleep quality through detailed analysis and user guidance.
As part of the One UI 7 update, Samsung Health includes a Sleep environment report, Sleep time guidance, and a Mindfulness tracker to enhance your sleep experience. These features are designed to help users achieve better sleep by leveraging data from SmartThings-compatible devices.
The Sleep Environment report, set to be available in the first half of 2025, will analyze conditions like temperature, humidity, air quality, and light in your sleep environment. This tool will offer personalized advice on how to optimize your bedroom for better rest.
Note that availability may vary by market, carrier, or model, and are intended for general wellness.
Sleep time guidance, expected in the second half of 2025, will suggest the best times for you to go to sleep and wake up based on your sleep patterns. This feature requires at least three consecutive nights of sleep data from either a Galaxy Watch or Galaxy Ring. Like all features, this is for general wellness and not for medical diagnosis or treatment.
The Mindfulness tracker within Samsung Health promotes mental well-being with mood, stress, and breathing exercise management. It’s important to understand that this tool is for general wellness and should not replace professional medical advice.
User experience may differ based on market, carrier, or the device paired.
With these updates tied to One UI 7, Samsung Health aims to revolutionize personal sleep management. While these features enhance user experience, they are not a substitute for professional medical advice.
Keep an eye out for their rollout in 2025 to see how they integrate into your daily health routine.
