Samsung may surprise consumers with the Galaxy S25 series price decision. While rumors point to a price hike, Samsung is preparing to keep the price of its upcoming flagships intact.
Roland Quandt of winfuture has got retailer data on Samsung’s for the coming phones. The information suggests Samsung won’t raise the price of the Galaxy S25, S25+ and S25 Ultra.
The new smartphone lineup will be equipped with Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. It is the first Qualcomm chip fabricated using cutting-edge 3nm process technology of TSMC.
The chip manufacturer has reportedly increased production costs. Therefore, Qualcomm is charging more for each Snapdragon 8 Elite unit, forcing OEMs to consider a price hike.
Samsung may have been considering the Galaxy S25 series price hike, but Apple has already announced its 2025 flagships – the iPhone 16 series – that has no price difference from the 2024 models.
That said, the Galaxy S25 could start at €899, S25+ at €1,149, and S25 Ultra at €1449. The devices will be available in different memory configuration options, probably:
- Galaxy S25 – 12GB + 128GB, 12GB + 256GB
- Galaxy S25+ – 12GB + 256GB, 12GB + 512GB
- Galaxy S25 Ultra – 12GB + 256GB, 16GB + 512GB, 16GB + 1TB
Hence, the Europe marketing price for the upcoming Samsung flagships is expected to be as follows:
Galaxy S25:
- 128GB: €899
- 256GB: €959
Galaxy S25+:
- 256GB: €1,149
- 512GB: €1,269
Galaxy S25 Ultra:
- 256GB: €1,449
- 512GB: €1,569
- 1TB: €1,809
Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy S25 series on January 22, 2025. San Francisco could be the venue for the first Galaxy Unpacked event of the next year.
