Verizon has now started releasing the November 2024 security patch for the Samsung Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus and Galaxy S23 Ultra device users, following the same update release for the Galaxy S24 lineup.

Currently, the latest November 2024 update is available for Verizon customers of Galaxy S23 series in the United States, it will soon reach more Galaxy phones/tablets and carriers in different countries.

Verizon users of the Galaxy S23 lineup can identify the latest Android security patch through the software versions: Galaxy S23 – S911USQS5CXI8, Galaxy S23 Plus – S916USQS5CXI8 and Galaxy S23 Ultra – S918USQS5CXI8.

According to Verizon Support, the current software update delivers the latest Android security patches to your device. By the way, Samsung’s monthly patches also help optimize system performance, resolve known issues, and provide new features.

Galaxy S23 One UI 7 update info:

The Galaxy S23 series phones are eligible for Samsung’s upcoming One UI 7 update. As per reports, the Korean tech giant is expected to release the Beta version of One UI 7 for Galaxy S24 devices in mid-November.

In the race to get the One UI 7 Beta version, the Galaxy S23 series is at the second position to enjoy the most awaited update. Users can expect access to the update after the Beta release for S24 or possibly simultaneously.

Samsung officially confirmed that the Stable version of One UI 7 update will come with its upcoming Galaxy S series smartphones, the Galaxy S25. And, these flagships are expected to launch in January next year.
