The Samsung Galaxy A56 is the next phone after the Galaxy A55, which came out in March. It’s been in the news a lot because it’s almost ready to be released.
A tipster on X shared some rumored details about it. They say it will use the Exynos 1580 chip, have a screen that refreshes 120 times per second and have an AMOLED screen with full HD+ resolution. It’s also supposed to have a metal frame and a glass back.
The camera setup includes a main 50-megapixel camera, a 12-megapixel one (probably wide-angle), and a 5-megapixel camera (likely for close-up shots). For selfies, there’s a 12-megapixel front camera.
You can get it with either 8 or 12 GB of RAM and storage options of 128 or 256 GB. It has a 5,000 mAh battery, which charges quickly at 45 watts.
In the UK, they’re guessing it will cost £439, the same as the previous model, suggesting there won’t be a price increase around the world.
Samsung will likely launch the Galaxy A56 in March 2025. All this information is based on leaks and rumors, so we will have to wait for official confirmation on any of these specifications or pricing.
