Google has just dropped the all-new January 2025 Android security patch update for all eligible Pixel devices, including the Pixel 6, 6 Pro, 6a, 7, 7 Pro, 7a, Tablet, Fold, 8, 8 Pro, 8a, 9, 9 Pro, 9 Pro XL, and 9 Pro Fold.
All supported Pixel devices running Android 15 will receive these software updates starting today, and the rollout will continue over the next week in phases, depending on carrier and device.
The January 2025 update for Pixel devices includes several bug fixes to improve performance. It resolves issues with audio delays and stability in certain apps, camera instability when switching to a connected camera, flashing lines on the screen, and incorrect icon color display in the Pixel launcher.
