Samsung will bring the AI Zoom feature to Galaxy S24 Series, Galaxy Z Fold6, and Galaxy Z Flip6 with One UI 7 update. The stable update is set to be unveiled at Unpacked next year, and the rollout could start by February.
The Galaxy S25 series is expected to feature AI Zoom out of the box. The Android 15-based One UI 7 update will expand the AI Zoom to Samsung Galaxy S24, S24 Plus, S24 Ultra, Z Fold6 and Z Flip6.
Samsung confirmed to Fonotify about the arrival of the AI Zoom feature on older Galaxy devices. The initial availability will be limited to 2024 flagships, and Wave II could take place in the first half of 2025.
Galaxy AI-powered AI Zoom will let you capture every detail anytime, anywhere. You will be able to capture detailed photos wherever and whenever you want.
Zoom range will depend on the device’s hardware (Base/Plus up to 30x, Ultra up to 100x). The AI Zoom will only work to distances between digital zoom lengths (3.1x to 30x and 5.1x to 100x).
Samsung explained it has crafted AI Zoom with the integration of ProVisual Engine and Galaxy camera’s Artificial Intelligence solutions.
