Following the recent iOS 18.1 update rollout, Apple is now releasing the iOS 18.2 Beta 2.
iOS 18.2 update is set for early December. Ahead of that, Apple has released the iOS 18.2 Beta 2 for developers with the new batch of Apple Intelligence features including camera control upgrades, ChatGPT integration and more.
The first Beta of iOS 18.2 was only available for iPhone models with support for Apple Intelligence. And this time the iOS 18.2 Beta 2 is available for all iPhone models capable of running iOS 18, however, is currently accessible for developers.
Apple’s iOS 18.2 public Beta could be rolled out to supported iPhone users as soon as next week. As per Mark Gurman’s report, the Stable version of iOS 18.2 is expected to be released in early December, possibly on December 2.
This latest iOS 18.2 update brings new Apple Intelligence features, like Image Playground for creating fun pictures by typing, and Genmoji for making custom emojis. You can now use ChatGPT with Siri for better help.
The Writing Tools feature includes a “Compose” button and an option to explain text changes. Visual Intelligence uses the iPhone 16’s camera to help you learn about your surroundings. The Image Wand in Notes turns sketches into images.
Additionally, the Mail app is redesigned to sort emails into four categories: Primary, Transactions, Updates, and Promotions, making it easier to manage your inbox.
