In an exciting update for Samsung Galaxy users, the Good Lock Development team has announced their plans to extend support for all remaining Good Lock modules with the upcoming One UI 7 update, expected to roll out in January 2025.

Good Lock, Samsung’s suite of customization apps, has been a favorite among users for enhancing their device’s functionality and aesthetics. With One UI 7, modules like HomeUP are set to be released alongside Beta 3 of the new UI, promising users even more control over their Galaxy devices.

The post from @FamilyTaes (X) includes a detailed list of apps that are already supported on One UI 7 Beta, such as One Hand Operation+, RegiStar, Nice Shot, Wonderland, Theme Park, Routine+, Sound Assistant, Camera Assistant, Keys Cafe, Pentastic, Edge Touch, Edge Lighting+, Nice Catch, Dropship, and Galaxy to Share.

Moreover, the team is working on plug-in apps with a high correlation to the device platform, which is currently under development for compatibility with the new structure. This includes support preparation for apps like LockStar, Home Up, NavStar, NotiStar, QuickStar, MultiStar, and ClockFace.

The announcement emphasizes that while the team is aiming for a January opening, they will provide updates as soon as the modules are ready. They also noted that significant functional changes might delay the opening of some apps.

For users eagerly awaiting these updates, especially those with a Galaxy S24, the beta program is an opportunity to experience these enhancements early. The full rollout of One UI 7 is expected with the Galaxy S25 series in early 2025, with subsequent updates for older devices.

This update from Good Lock enhances the user experience and aligns with Samsung‘s broader strategy to make their devices more customizable and user-friendly with every software iteration.
