Samsung One UI 6 Watch Update

Samsung today starts rolling out the Stable One UI 6 Watch update based on Wear OS 5. The first wave of rollout includes Galaxy Watch 6 and Watch 6 Classic, with older models will follow sequentially.

One UI 6 Watch update brings select new features from the Galaxy Watch 7 and Watch Ultra to previous generations of Galaxy Watch. The list of eligible devices is as follows:

  • Galaxy Watch 6
  • Galaxy Watch 6 Classic
  • Galaxy Watch 5
  • Galaxy Watch 5 Pro
  • Galaxy Watch 4
  • Galaxy Watch 4 Classic
  • Galaxy Watch FE

The new software adds various features for an elevated user experience. The most highlighting additions include Energy Score, Sleep Tracking, and Sleep Apnea. Galaxy AI-powered Race and Workout Routine are also arriving.

The One UI 6 Watch update provides new watch faces to best suit various needs or preferences that are both stylish and functional.

The update also allows users to enjoy more seamless experiences with connected Galaxy devices. When paired with a compatible Galaxy smartphone, users can effortlessly send suitable responses with AI-powered Suggested replies.

With simple and intuitive Double Pinch Gestures, a connected Galaxy smartphone can be easily controlled right from the wrist.

Rollout Started in South Korea:

Samsung has released the Stable One UI 6 Watch update for the Galaxy Watch 6 and Galaxy Watch 6 Classic. It comes in a hefty software package weighing around 1.85GB and includes October 2024 patch.
